Mecum Auctions returned to Kissimmee today for a ten day run that will see over 3,000 vehicles auctioned in the world’s largest collector car auction.
The auction runs from today, 16th January through to 25th January at Osceola Heritage Park. The auctioneers will looking to surpass last years record of 1,750 vehicles sold from a total of 2,750 and a total sales value of over $63 million.
The auction also has a road art section and auctions for this are on Monday 19th, Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th of January.
Tomorrow, Saturday 24th, is a great day to attend the auction as several interesting vehicles will be auctioned. A 1970 Plymouth Superbird, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle LS6 Convertible, a 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Tanker and a 1972 Lola T310 Can Am are all scheduled to cross the auction block during the day.
Admission is $20; free for children 12 and under. Gates open at 8 a.m. daily with the auction starting at 10am everyday for vehicles and 9am on road art days. General parking is $8 per day.
