Tonight is the last chance to see the Silver Spurs rodeo. It’s also a last chance to pay tribute to the military as the rodeo welcomes the “Horses and Heroes Drill Team.”
The drill team is an assembly of veterans who participate in group therapy at Heavenly Hoofs Therapeutic Riding Center in Kissimmee. The program is designed for veterans that were wounded in combat or suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Allowing them the opportunity to work with therapists, medical professionals and certified equine specialists in a holistic approach to healing.
The June Rodeo is an official Wrangler National Patriot Rodeo event where attendees wear red, white & blue to support the troops as a portion of the evenings proceeds will go to benefit the Heroes for Horses program.
Tickets for the rodeo are only $15 per person, kids 10 and under are free.
Military personnel can present their official military identification to the Silver Spurs Box Office to receive complimentary admission into the largest rodeo in the Southeast. The action starts tonight at 7:30 pm at the Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee, Florida.
