The Florida Swing hits Orlando this week as the Arnold Palmer Invitational starts on Thursday 19th March.
New to the event this year is World Number One Rory McIlroy but golf fans will be a little disappointed due to the fact that Tiger Woods has been unable to commit to the event.
The event sees the top five golf players in the world compete along with 48 of the top 50 on the PGA tour.
At age 25, McIlroy comes to Orlando looking to tune up his game before attempting to complete the career Grand Slam at The Masters. The Irishman is looking to join Woods, Jack Nicklaus, Ben Hogan, Gary Player and Gene Sarazen as the only player to do so.
His victory at the 2014 Open Championship in July meant that McIlroy joined Nicklaus and Woods as one of three golfers with three major championship wins by 25.
“I’m so pleased to have Rory here and the field we’ve got, the first five in the world, that’s pretty good right there. But we also have 48 very good players out of the Top 50” said Palmer.
