Atlético Mineiro takes 2016 Florida Cup Title
Brazilian side Atlético Mineiro took home the 2016 Florida Cup title as the championship concluded last night at ESPN Wide World of Sports and Lockhart Stadium in Fort Lauderdale.
In all nine games were played with 9 teams competing in matches twice. Mineiro’s two victories over Schalke 04 (3-0) and Corinthians (1-0) were enough to secure the maximum 6 points and secure the title.
