Bret Michaels visits Pet Supermarket Orlando and then rocks Hard Rock!
One of life’s good guys was in Orlando yesterday as Bret Michaels first made a visit to see fans at Pet Supermarket on Colonial Drive before heading over to Hard Rock Hotel to play a concert to aid Pinktober.
Bret was at the store to help promote his Pets Rock line available exclusively at PetSmart. Lucky customers who purchased $15 worth of his exclusive Pets Rock merchandise received a limited edition lanyard as well as the chance to partake in a Meet & Greet with Bret.
He then headed over to Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando to participate in a Pinktober Velvet Session. For those unfamiliar, the award winning “Velvet Sessions” is a rock & roll cocktail party held in the hotel’s Velvet Bar and Lobby Lounge. Each “Session” showcases a different type of beverage theme for members to sip, shoot or guzzle along with fabulous and great live music from the nation’s best rock bands.
Before the concert, Michaels flipped a switch that turned a pink light onto the facade of the building and fountain to indicate the start of the Pinktober campaign. A campaign to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer.
We got a few moments with the singer-songwriter and winner of Season 3 of the Celebrity Apprentice and we asked him about his love for Florida. He said “Florida is my favorite state. I enjoying visiting for work and pleasure. I particularly love visiting Orlando, Cocoa Beach and the whole of the east coast of Florida. I’ve had some great times here.”
We look forward to his next visit… we guess it won’t be too long before he returns!
