Disney Pro-Soccer Classic Draws to Conclusion
A week of heavy soccer action at the ESPN Wide World of Sports at Walt Disney World draws to a conclusion tonight as the championship final sees MLS teams Toronto FC and Vancouver Whitecaps FC battle it out for bragging rights at 8pm.
It promises to be an entertaining final as both teams have looked pretty useful in their previous games. Toronto opened with a fortunate 2-2 draw v Orlando City before sealing their place in the final by defeating BK Hacken from Sweden 3-1 and FC Dallas 3-0.
Vancouver secured their place looking the most impressive of all the teams and without conceding a goal, as they scored 3-0 wins over Montreal Impact and Sporting Kansas City as well as winning 1-0 win over Houston Dynamo in their other game.
Along with Toronto FC and Vancouver Whitecaps FC, the Walt Disney World Pro Soccer Classic featured Montreal Impact, Houston Dynamo, FC Dallas, Sporting Kansas City, Orlando City Soccer and Sweden’s B.K. Hacken in competition during the seven-day tournament.
The consolation game starting at 6pm tonight will be between Houston Dynamo and FC Dallas.
