Duplo Village – Legoland Florida
Just 6 days to go before Legoland Florida opens and in today’s blog we take a look at the place that has been especially built toddlers.
DUPLO appeals to toddlers because of its oversized bricks and Legoland has built a separate DUPLO Village with four rides specifically for that age group. It appeals to families with small children as everything is scaled with their size in mind and the rides have room for both adults and children so they can be accompanied on the rides.
DUPLO Village is built on the site of the former Cypress Gardens Gamesville and it’s here that youngsters have the opportunity to e, drive a car, truck, or fire engine and explore a whole town … all designed with their height in mind.
Rides & Attractions:
Big Rig Rally – buckle up in a semi truck and drive through the desert to deliver your cargo. (Minimum rider height 36″, below 48″ must be accompanied by a responsible rider 48″ or taller)
Junior Fire Academy – tots become voluntary firemen and work together to extinguish “flames”. (Minimum rider height 36″)
Granny’s Jalopies – a beeping horn and a bumpy ride are sure to induce giggles from riders of all ages. (Minimum rider height 36″, below 48″ must be accompanied by a responsible rider 48″ or taller)
DUPLO Farm – slide, climb and crawl through and around a whole host of friendly farm animals.
