“It’s Christmas” – The Singing Christmas Trees Are Back!
One of Orlando’s most popular traditions is back! The Singing Christmas Trees opened last weekend and continues next weekend with performances at 7.30pm on Friday 12th, 3pm on Saturday 13th and 5.00pm on Sunday 14th December.
The Singing Christmas Trees is an exciting presentation of Christmas classics and the pageantry of two huge 40-foot-tall Christmas Trees. “It’s Christmas” is this years production that features a huge choir, full orchestra, worshipful dance, powerful drama and a beautiful display of 250,000 lights.
The tradition of the Singing Christmas Trees stems back over three decades and has become one of Central Florida’s most loved and spectacular traditions. The show really has something for everyone. From the traditional Christmas story of the birth of Christ through to a superb light hearted twelve days of Christmas number that features comedy, rock n roll, rap, Elvis Presley, The Beatles and far more.
From the moment the curtain drops on the two giant Christmas trees housed with a superb choir belting out traditional Christmas favorites such as Jingle Bells, O Holy Night and Silent Night, the audience is engaged in a journey that discovers the true meaning of Christmas among the hustle and bustle of the holiday season.
The storyline gives us a behind the scenes glimpse into The Singing Christmas Trees, as we follow the director’s journey to creating the best show possible.
“It’s Christmas” is a wonderful reminder of God’s gift of His Son, Jesus Christ.
