The US men’s national team and Canada clash at Exploria Stadium, Orlando on Friday night as both teams compete to secure a place in the CONCACAF Nation’s League final four.
Canada are currently leading Group A with a perfect record of three wins from three games as they head into their final group stage match. A win or draw would secure their place while the US need to defeat the Canucks as well as take victory over Cuba at Truman Bodden Stadium in George Town, Cayman Islands on Tuesday, November 19.
The US will be keen to avenge their 2-0 defeat to Canada in October when Alphonso Davies and Lucas Cavallini netted to give the hosts an historic victory, their first over their close neighbors since 1985.
“I don’t think we have a fear of failure,” said US Head Coach Gregg Berhalter (pictured above.) “I think it is a group that is developing, I think it is a resilient group, I think it is a brave group. From day one the players have been focused on doing every single thing we have asked of them and for me, that mindset is amazing.”
The match kicks off at 7pm on Friday 14th November 2019.
