Orlando City midfielder Kevin Molino continued his terrific goalscoring form earlier tonight as he played a key part in Trinidad & Tobago’s victory over Dominican Republic.
Molino scored in the 2nd, 3rd and 25th minutes to help his team to a 6-1 win in his nation’s 2014 Caribbean Cup qualification opener. The USL PRO most valuable player also added an assist in the 40th minute.
Trinidad and Tobago will be back in action on Friday against St. Lucia, who lost to Antigua and Barbuda, 2-1, in their opener. The Soca Warriors will close group play against Antigua and Barbuda on Oct. 12.
The finals will take place Nov. 10-17 in Jamaica, and the top four teams will qualify for the 2015 Gold Cup while a fifth team will play in a playoff. The winner of the tournament will also qualify for the Copa America Centenario in 2016.
