At this morning’s Orange County Economic Recovery Task Force meeting, SeaWorld announced it plans to reopen to on June 10th for an employee appreciation night and June 11th for the general public.
The move comes after Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said that in order to reopen, theme parks like Disney World, Universal Studios, and SeaWorld would need to submit their plans for approval first to the local government, followed by his own approval.
As part of their reopening plan, the theme park has proposed health and safety precautions such as increased sanitation, required face masks for both guests and team members, temperature screenings, and a reduced capacity upon reopening.
