Skeletons: Animals Unveiled! is a brand new first of its kind museum located at I-Dive 360 on International Drive, Orlando. It joins The Orlando Eye, SEALIFE Orlando and Madame Tussauds Orlando as the new kid on the block at the new complex near to Orange County Convention Center.
We took a preview tour of the museum ahead of its official opening this weekend. The museum is home to over 400 skeletons in clever never seen before poses and dioramas. Each skeleton can take over 500 hours to prepare and they are arranged in a variety of scientific or action poses.
The museum is approximately 7,750 square feet and as such, it will take about an hour to an hour and a half to tour.
The family owned business, Skulls Unlimited, opened their first skeleton museum, the Museum of Osteology, in Oklahoma City in 2010. The Orlando attraction allows visitors to examine a wide variety of creatures, from tiny mice to giant whales, as well as the opportunity to see some more extreme natural deformities like two headed calves!
