The 2015 Landscape Show
Another show that is in Orlando this week is the 2015 Landscape Show featuring some 7,000 attendees and 450 exhibiting companies in 800+ booth spaces.
The event is the southeast’s premier landscape and horticulture conference and trade event. The Landscape Show features over 200,000 square feet of trees, shrubs, equipment and more.
The show also features “The Knowledge College” which continues to be the go-to educational conference for those seeking in-depth learning from industry professionals and experts. Sessions are fee-based and are some of the best industry educational opportunities in the state for landscape, IGC and business professionals within the nursery industry.
In addition to the extensive trade show, numerous industry events surround The Landscape Show. 2015 brings The Garden Center Group to the show and various social events provide attendees time for relaxing with old and new friends as well as exchanging news, information and industry knowledge.
Over the years the show has declined as the recession took place but Billy Deal (pictured above), Director of Association Services for Florida Nursery Growers & Landscape Association, Inc. said “We now have good steady growth, industry members have seen price points going up but there is still a scarcity of inventory that is slowing coming back. The show has grown this year and we have 40 more exhibitors than last year. That’s encouraging.”
