Tips for your Walt Disney World Holiday
If you are planning to visit Walt Disney World this Christmas and New Year, there’s a couple of things that you need to know that will make your life much easier. This time of year is usually extremely busy as Walt Disney World starts the holiday magic and more people come to enjoy the festive season.
The first tip I have is to plan your trip with care if you want to get the most out of it. Equip yourself with a day planner and list out everything you and your family want to see and do. Allow yourself two to three hours to do this.
Next plan your meal times and slot them in. Do plenty of research on the internet about the places you want to try and read other reports from other diners who have visited before you. It is important to know what you like and you don’t like as you don’t want any unpleasant surprises. Orlando has lots of choice so you can find something to make everyone happy.
After you’ve planned what you want to see, do and eat, plan each day separately. If you are going to one of the great theme parks in Central Florida then plan a time to arrive that will give you the most out of the trip. Again, research each park and plan how you want to go around the park. Are you going to go clockwise, anti clockwise or do the busiest rides first and get them out of the way? There are many ways to plan a visit to a theme park and don’t forget, you can get fast pass tickets as well that will help speed things up.
Finally, plan for the weather. No, Florida isn’t always warm. At the moment it’s hovering between 60 degrees at night and 80 degrees during the day and while this will sound warm to you snowbirds, be warned because it can dip into the 40’s at times…and then we do get occasional windchill factors that makes it feel much colder. So do make sure you bring something warm to wear.
The week of Christmas and New Year is one of the busiest there is at the parks but with a little planning you can make the most of it and have a lot of fun.
