Village People and Sara Evans Coming to SeaWorld Orlando
This week, the “Celebrating America” Concert Series at SeaWorld Orlando announces Village People and Sara Evans for the final Summer Nights August 8 – 9 weekend.
Village People (pictured above) are a one-of-a-kind act synonymous with disco and dance music. These six men combine high-energy choreography with fun and lots of singing and dancing, providing great entertainment for audiences of all ages and backgrounds. They have sold more than 100 million recordings and are known for such hits as “Macho Man”, “Can’t Stop the Music”, “Go West”, and of course “YMCA”.
Multi-platinum selling country singer and songwriter, Sara Evans (pictured above) has been called “one of the most compelling vocalists of her generation.” Her recently released album, “Slow Me Down,” comes two years after the release of “Stronger,” her second Billboard Country Album Chart #1. Despite five #1 Country songs, “Slow Me Down’s” title track, released in fall 2013 is her biggest first week Country radio added single ever and was named by Billboard as one of the “10 Best Country Singles of 2013.”
During the summer series, every Saturday and Sunday guests will enjoy musical performances and daily happy hours. Concerts take place in the air-conditioned Nautilus Theater at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and are included with park admission.
