The news everyone was expecting took shape this morning as Walt Disney World announced that they were raising their ticket prices. The now annual increase held something of a surprise as Disney announced that a single-day pass for Magic Kingdom will now be higher than the other three Walt Disney World theme parks. This now makes Magic Kingdom the most expensive theme park in Central Florida.
From Sunday, June 2 2013 a one-day, one-park ticket will cost $90 + tax at Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom while Magic Kingdom will see a rate of $95 + tax. Children will be $89 + tax at Magic Kingdom and $84 + tax at all the other parks. Prices for other passes below:
Magic Your Way Base Ticket Prices (All prices exclude tax)
There will be some added on pricing to figure in if you want to choose additional options.
Annual Passes, which allow access into the parks year round, are set to rise by $35 as the cost for both adult and child passes will go from $574 to $609.
The Premium Annual Pass will go up to $729.
