Wine & Dine on 9 at Arnold Palmer Invitational
Yesterday saw the annual Wine and Dine on 9 feast at the Arnold Palmer Invitational as attendees enjoyed signature dishes from 16 Southwest Orlando-area fine restaurants. The gourmet food was paired with fine wines from the Robert Mondavi organization and was held, as always, alongside the 9th hole at the Bay Hill Club and Lodge.
As you can see from the menu in the photograph above, there was plenty of choice for diners and the net result was a delightful afternoon of food, wine and fun for all attendees. 2013 was the fourth year that the Dr. Phillips Rotary Club have held the event and this year was every bit as huge a success as each previous year. In fact, the VIP section was extended to include approximately another dozen tables such is its popularity. Oh… and if you’re wondering, the difference between VIP and regular attendees is the table side service as opposed to wandering the tented booths searching for the dish of your desire.
One of the popular features of Wine & Dine on 9 is the ability to watch the best golfers in the world tee it up. Wine & Dine is situated midway between the 9th tee and green and is a great area for avid golf fans to watch the approach shots of players like Tiger Woods, Justin Rose, Phil Mickelson and a whole host of others who are usually timed to appear on the scene between the 2pm to 5.30pm Wine and Dine on 9 event.
