The International Amusement Park and Attractions Expo comes to a close in Orlando today. The show will have seen 27,000 visitors attend some 1,000 exhibitor booths featuring new products and services in the fields of thrill rides, midway games, water slides, inflatables, simulators, food and beverage, technology and safety.

Some of the highlights of the show were:

Furyu Corporation’s new photo sticker machine called Puribooth. the Puribooth differs from traditional photo booth products because of its advanced technologies and its emphasis on maximizing the fun of its users. Japan is a nation that loves photo booths and now Furyu has designed a photo booth specifically for the international marketplace. The machine allows for users to enjoy four different poses and that means four times the fun! The large walk in photo booth comfortably fits four people but it can hold upto six. The booth is easy to get in to situ as it comes equipped with roller caster wheels.

At booth 2015, Betson Enterprises displayed their new Jurassic Park Thrill-D Environmental theater experience and their Thrill-D Full Motion theater experience. Nicole, (pictured above), with Betson, kindly gave us a run down of the two new exciting machines that are due to hit the market in the Spring of 2015 as she explained that both have 55″ 1020p HD LED screens, 9 action packed levels, over 30 dinosaur species based on hit movie franchise and a thrill-D sound system with seat shaker. The machines also have a 3 foot T-Rex attraction topper as well as over 1,000 eye catching color shifting dyno LED’s. The biggest difference between the two machines is that the one is static while the other has some exciting movement to give a more immersive experience.

Booth 231 saw IMPLY introduce their new “The Flintstones” themed game and bowling experience. Yabba Dabba Doo! Bowling allows up to six players to bowl while “The Flintstones” characters cheer along.

Booth 141 carried an innovative product called the TV Shield from Protective Enclosures Company. Kimberly, (pictured above), from Protective Enclosures Company informed us that the TV Shield protects both indoor and outdoor screens from threats of weather, theft and vandalism. The product also features an anti glare screen and a fan that comes on when the temperature reaches 88 degrees and goes off when it gets down to 77 degrees. The price of the unit ranges from $399 to $1000 depending on the screen size required.

The Honolulu Hot Dog Company presented a different take on a traditional American classic. The company uses a unique blend of Hawaiian fresh fruit ingredients, handcrafted pineapple bacon sausage and fresh toasted hearth-baked sweet bread to create a new and interesting hot dog experience.

Mirror Mazes International showcased its infinity illusion mirror maze. We can safely say this was quite an experience as while in the maze, the guest gets a true feeling of infinity in all directions. the company also offers mirror maze safety systems as well as audio and lighting packages.

At booth 562, Winterland Inc. showcased a wide range of products built for the holiday season. From Sequoia Christmas trees to quality artificial foliages  and outdoor shrubbery, the company can give any property a very special look.

Watergush displayed their “All in One” fountain module. The equipment is engineered to be flexible, easy to install and more energy efficient that a traditional fountain system. It also makes for a great display!

Lastly, a special word for Aunt Butchie’s Desserts of Brooklyn and their wonderful cheese cake cones. Their almond cone with a cheesecake filling was a huge crowd favorite! Nuff said!
